Here's my submission for this week's
Illustration Friday topic. The showdown at the end of
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
creates
fantastic tension. The musical score builds and builds with the shots edited to keep in time, becoming faster and more
intense until the three main characters
finally pull their
triggers. I love that movie. I also love Clint's awesome poncho.
EPIC!!

DeleteI really love this! So creative in the way you are making the viewer hear the song simply by seeing the shapes and then the notes sweep across the picture! I can hear it now! And what a great way to illustrate "tension". Love how you tapped into our collective conscious to convey the theme.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Laura! I'm really happy you like it, and happier still that you were able to hear the music through it :)
DeleteThis is Amazing! such a good idea for the topic. I LOVE anything about this film, this scene being the highlight.
