I love checking my email and finding I've been sent a photograph of a bird. Yesterday, Will sent me one of a bird called a Blue-Footed Booby because he thought I would like it, and he was right! They're brilliant - as part of their mating ritual, the males strut around, gallantly showing off their feet in a sort of little dance. Those with the bluest feet attract the females. Blue-Footed Boobies are my new favourite birds of the moment.
I didn't know about these birds, they are wonderful creatures ♥

ReplyDeleteAw, thank you Hedwig! :) I drew him with ink, then scanned and added the colour in Photoshop, using various custom brushes for the background spatters
