Linking this post back to Inspiration Avenue. For this week's topic I drew one half of my one and only pair of heels. My little black Christmas-party-and-occasional-wedding heels. Whenever I wear them, by the end of the night I'm tottering around like a Thunderbirds puppet. But I spent my teenage years in stompy biker boots, so never really got in that necessary early conditioning. Plus my career has been working as an artist in video games, and the dress code has always been pretty casual. I remember I told a friend once that I went for an interview in a denim skirt and flat shoes and she looked mortified.
I added a black swan to the picture for that little bit of elegance, because black heels should be elegant! Just not when they're worn by me!

Deletelol, I know what you mean. I have 2 pairs and they sit in my closet looking pretty. If I wear them it is 5 min max, then I'm barefoot again :) Love the swan's details, you are a true talent!
