I drew this sparrow a while ago using dipping pen and ink. He has that little tough-guy look that sparrows adopt when you get too close to their hedgerow! I scanned the black and white drawing and completed the picture in Photoshop, using some techniques I learned this evening from a woodcut-effect tutorial. More birds incoming!
The photoshop techniques are great. It looks hand done, I love it!
