Seaside Tea

Inspired by my Brecon Beacons-themed tea-birds from a previous post, I decided to do another themed offering for Inspiration Avenue's Nautical challenge.  Sadly I was a little too late to enter, but it was fun coming up with this one, especially as it features gulls - one of my favourite birds!

On the subject of tea, artist and blogger Tracey Fletcher King is currently illustrating a series of cups and mugs for her brilliant and innovative Cuppa With Friends project.  She's asked to be emailed photographs of all sorts of cups and has been creating fantastic paintings of them.  My skull mug is in her hall of fame, yay!  Click here for her latest cool creations (including the skull!), and here to find out how to get your favourite cup involved in the project!

  3. Did you draw it on green paper, or did you add the green color digitally? I like the sea gulls! Actually I was planning a drawing with them :). The ropes and the wood textures are great.
