For Illustration Friday this week, I was inspired by my childhood pet rabbit, Roscoe.
Whenever we had carrots for dinner, I would take the sliced off carrot-tops, and put them in saucers of water on my kitchen windowsill until they sprouted great curling leaves. I remember this working for turnips too, and Roscoe loved to wolf them down when I'd grown them as tall as I thought I could.

Wonderful!
