Today's been pretty great. We bought a little round table and two chairs for our back yard. It's only a tiny patio, but it looks out over lots of greenery and it's quite a sun-trap during the day. We're going to get some potted plants to make it a bit nicer, but for now it was just such a treat to sit outside and make some pictures. More birds - but this time made from cut-out card and my new favourite thing: a white gel pen!

Inspiration Avenue topic. I made the eagle this afternoon and the swallows this evening, when there were actually swallows chirping and swooping about overhead. One of our neighbours was having a barbecue and another was singing in his kitchen - I love working away with all that happy hubbub in the background!
